We test our cabinets beyond industry standards, and even pit them against some unusual extremes, to ensure they’ll stand up to the wear and tear of everyday life. Here are a few of the tests we conduct in our 2,500-square-foot quality control lab.

| Chemical Resistance | Detergent solution and household cleaners. Condiments, juices and coffee. Alcohol. Olive oil. We apply a host of substances to finished door samples. The finish passes only if there’s no evidence of appreciable staining or deterioration after 24 hours of exposure. (Quality Point #20) |
| UV Light | Many cabinetmakers don’t bother with UV testing, but we expose our finished doors to intense UV light for 350 hours to ensure there won’t be unreasonable color change after years of sun exposure. (Quality Point #21) |
| High Heat | We subject our cabinets to 120 degrees Fahrenheit heat at 70% relative humidity for 24 hours so you’ll never have to worry about finish failures that might be caused by cooking activities, dishwasher steam or tropical shipping conditions. (Quality Point #22) |
