    The BEST cabinet bumpers ANYWHERE

Posted by Len on 1st Sep 2018

We have Kraftmaid cabinets (from Lowe's) in one bathroom, but got full custom cabinets for our kitchen from a local factory (Busby Cabinets). We love the custom cabinets, but they came with cheap stick-on bumpers that immediately started sliding and popping off the cabinets. I searched everywhere for bumpers like Kraftmaid's that insert into drilled holes so they don't pop off. The best I found on Amazon was Platte River, but they're not even close. They have rounded heads that are half as thick, with harder silicone. The Kraftmaid Permaset bumpers are much nicer, with thick, smooth, soft silocone. The heads are the same thickness as the stick-on bumpers they replaced. I'm glad Kraftmaid made them available for order directly. We used a 3/16" drill bit and they fit perfectly snug. (You can search my Amazon review of the Platte River bumpers for picture comparisons; reviewer name: The GOAT)

    useful product

Bumpers may seem like a small thing, but they are among the little things that make life in the kitchen more pleasant. No local hardware store had these so I was pleased to have a very helpful representative find these for me among the many products listed in Kraft Maid on line.

    bumbers

I like the new bumbers better than my original. More rigid construction easier to set in holes and remains in place better
