Notes:
The husband and wife recently bought a house with a gorgeous view of Hawaiian mountains and ocean but they hate practically everything about the old kitchen-- cramped, dark, inadequate storage and counter space, ill-positioned appliances, poor ventilation (recirculation micro hood), weird/dated walls with tiny pass-through/opening. They want to knock-down these walls and transform the kitchen into their dream space that's highly functional, safe and beautiful. They want a kitchen that's perfect not only for cooking but also for entertaining and some office work. To achieve these, we did the following: 1.) Knocked down two (2) walls, 2.) Repositioned appliances including moving the range to the island, 3.) Installed a powerful hood that vents outside, 4.) Wide Island with waterfall on both sides, 5.) Added cabinetry and countertops on the previously empty back wall 6.) Added a desk for office work, 7.) Full-height backsplashes, 8.) Replaced Microwave hood with microwave drawer. We also incorporated the following accessories: 1.) Wood Tiered Drawer storage, 2.) Knife Section, 3.) Utensil Pull-out, 4.) Bistro clear glass doors, 5.) Utility cleaning cabinet, 6.) Double wastebaskets, 7.) Double deep drawers, 8.) Tilt-out tray. Most important of all, the homeowners are very happy with this dramatic transformation.
