Deluxe Dovetailed Roll-Out Trays

Installed my pantry in 2009 during a kitchen renovation. Decided recently we needed better organization so i ordered the roll out trays with the full extension. Very happy with the result. Very easy to install and just an amazing difference for locating items more easily, without having to kneel on the floor. We pulled out stuff that was expired for years because it was tucked so far back we never knew it was there. This purchase was definitely worth the price.

When we had our kitchen designed, we ended up with a 24 x 24 pantry that was over 8' tall. The bottom unit only came with 4 roll out trays so we ordered three more directly from KraftMaid. They are just like the originals.
Installation is easy enough -- would have been better if the pantry had holes drilled continuously rather than every 5" or so - not the tray's problem but KraftMaid's.

I purchased two of these to add to our pantry, which has these identical trays. We like the trays very much. My only complaint is that upon receipt, one if the boxes contained a bag of hardware for the installation that had been torn open and two of the screws were missing. The other box's hardware bag wasn't open but was short one screw.

The trays are quite sturdy and hold a fair amount of weight with no flexing or dipping. A fully loaded tray will still glide effortlessly. I replace a fixed shelf with two roll out trays. Huge improvement with functionality and ease of storage.

My one complaint is that the package arrived with a single screw missing. Put in a request for a replacement and have to wait 7-10 days for shipping once the request was processed. I am sure I am not the first customer to get shorted a screw or other small item. Kraftmaid should have a better process in place for small missing items to be expedited. Especially given their price point.

Installation was incredibly simple. I had anticipated spending an hour to get the two trays installed. Probably took me less than five minutes. It really is a great design.
