Deluxe Dovetailed Roll-Out Trays

We have had these cabinets for 15 years and just decided to buy the roll-out trays. Craftsmanship is of the highest quality and installation was easy, especially with the pre-drilled holes in the back. We love the Kraftmaid line of products.

Purchased KraftMaid cabinets in a kitchen remodel last year and we did not order the roll out trays initially. After a year of my wife making due with pulling out pots and pans I ordered these. They were easy to install and are good quality compared to copycats in the big box stores. My wife is happy as a clam now!

Hubby was thrilled when he discovered the pre-drilled holes in the pantry and it took all of 5 minutes to install. Drawers are well made and fit perfectly. Could not be more thrilled with them. We had no issues with any damage or missing parts. We ordered one to see how it would work and were so pleased, we ordered another and now another. We were unsure how many drawers we would use because the pantry is so tall and we need a step stool to reach the to shelves and we were not sure how it would work with a pull out on the very top--so we ordered one at a time. Shipping was very fast and ordering a breeze.

Pull-out drawers allow more of the cabinet to be accessible. The quality of these drawers is good, except for a slot cut across the rear which fatally weakens the dovetail slots at the bottom edge of the drawer. Out of 4 drawers we ordered, 2 arrived damaged because of this slot. It's a shame because the slot isn't necessary: each slide could engage the back of the drawer using a hole instead. Two fo the slides were also bent, so obviously the packaging for shipping could have been done better. KraftMaid has agreed to replace the damaged drawers; we're hoping history doesn't repeat itself. The actual installation (for the undamaged drawers) was simple and smooth.

The product does exactly what I want it to. The installation was about the easiest I have ever experienced for any product. Very well-designed.

We had the original roll-out trays in all but two of our shelving spaces in our kitchen. We decided to convert those two to roll-out trays after the holidays. I was able to find one of the original trays at a KraftMaid reseller. So, I ordered the newer model dovetailed roll-out tray for the other space. The dovetailed model is much more substantial and comes with drawer-quality, soft-close slides. The original roll-out trays have performed flawlessly for several years, but you can definitely tell that you "get what you pay for" with the dovetail construction and the higher quality slides. Very pleased with the purchase.

We added this new drawer to the bottom of our Kraft Maid pantry and it is truly a back saver. No more bending over the drawer above to see what's in the back of the pantry!

Very good quality trays and hardware. Everything was as described. Fairly easy to install. Wish the upper half of my pantry cabinet had the same hole layout, though. I have to drill my own holes for those trays.

I have pull-out shelves that originated with my kitchen cupboards and they are O.K. for the light-weight challenges. These are heavy duty with self-closing silent rails and able to support my heavy Lodge cookware. The design is perfect for ease of installation. A nice addition at an O.K. price.
